I hearing get who had but ears,
And sight who had but eyes before,
I moments live who lived but years,
And truth discern who knew but learning’s lore.

Henry David Thoreau

Would that I could put my troubles in my hand and throw them away.

By the light of the sun and the moon, my nights last for years and my days for weeks while I pursue a lantern I once beheld but knew I could not hold.

With wood and stone I would build myself a shelter for the rain-soaked windy nights, and for the clear, still nights I would sooner have a bed of earth and a dark night blanket woven with the light from a million distant galaxies.

Light, which the sun has bestowed upon the land, meets my wandering gaze whilst the misty-mountain-reminiscent fog hangs suspended in the crisp autumn air.

The moon landing was fake.
6 million jews didn’t die in wwII. There were no gas chambers.
JFK was assassinated by his own government.
911 was state terrorism.

But all this only goes to show the power of propaganda, the fourth branch of government, and the degradation of the masses.

One farmer says to me, “You cannot live on vegetable food solely, for it furnishes nothing to make bones with”; and so he religiously devotes a part of his day to supplying his system with the raw material of bones; walking all the while he talks behind his oxen, which, with vegetable-made bones, jerk him and his lumbering plough along in spite of every obstacle.

Henry David Thoreau

I feel like walking and I feel like lying down.

Talking to myself ‘cause I can’t sleep at night. Rough-spun dreams of warmth and light. When your ways get dark what’s left to see ain’t right.

Keep your lamp trimmed and burning so as not to be whelmed by that yet dim yearning. All the while slowly learning as the third wanderer continues turning into the new age; the next page in this chapter of sorrow will soon tell for us what holds tomorrow. [A man, whose shirt we may have to “borrow”? Who knows what lengths may be taken to acquire some clothes, and as the saying goes “we reap what we sow” but how can a man honestly live when he has a tax on his life and is forced to give to pay off a debt that doesn’t exist, to buy the things that were already his.]

I had somewhere to go. But the words to get there have left me.

Sorrow - A feeling of deep distress caused by loss, disappointment, or other misfortune suffered by oneself or others.

I feel a bit sorrowful sometimes for us. I feel like we have been usurped.

Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.

Henry David Thoreau

Psychedelic experience is only a glimpse of genuine mystical insight, but a glimpse which can be matured and deepened by the various ways of meditation in which drugs are no longer necessary or useful. If you get the message, hang up the phone. For psychedelic drugs are simply instruments, like microscopes, telescopes, and telephones. The biologist does not sit with eye permanently glued to the microscope, he goes away and works on what he has seen.

Alan Watts - Conversation with myself

“In contact with the flux of cosmic consciousness all religions known and named to-day will be melted down. The human soul will be revolutionized. Religion will absolutely dominate the race. It will not depend on tradition. It will not be believed and disbelieved. It will not be a part of life, belonging to certain hours, times, occasions. It will not be in sacred books nor in the mouths of priests. It will not dwell in churches and meetings and forms and days. Its life will not be in prayers, hymns nor discourses. It will not depend on special revelations, on the words of gods who came down to teach, nor any other bible or bibles. It will have no mission to save men from their sins or to secure them entrance to heaven. It will not teach a future immortality nor future glories, for immortality will live in every heart as sight in every eye. Doubt of God and of eternal life will be as impossible as is now doubt of existence; the evidence of each will be the same. Religion will govern every minute of every day of all life. Churches, priests, forms, creeds, prayers, all agents, all intermediaries between the individual man and God will be permanently replaced by direct unmistakable intercourse. Sin will no longer exist nor will salvation be desired. Men will not worry about death or a future, about the kingdom of heaven, about what may come with and after the cessation of the life of the present body. Each soul will feel and know itself to be immortal, will feel and know that the entire universe with all its good and with all its beauty is for it and belongs to it forever. The world peopled by men possessing cosmic consciousness will be as far removed from the world of to-day as this is from the world as it was before the advent of self-consciousness.”
